Adored Beast Apothecary Guide
This is a map through the Adored Beast Apothecary range at Woof Living, organised by what your pet actually needs — daily maintenance, targeted support, or full-protocol repair. Whether you're starting with a healthy dog, working through a chronic gut issue, or supporting a cat with urinary concerns, the answer is here.
Which gut product is right for your pet
Adored Beast Apothecary has four main gut products and three more targeted ones. The right starting point depends on what's happening with your pet — daily maintenance, active digestive issues, or deeper chronic repair. Follow the branch that fits.
Compare the gut products
All four products share the same 14-strain probiotic base and larch prebiotic. The differences are in CFU count, added herbs and enzymes, and species suitability. Here's how they compare at a glance.

Gut & digestion
The foundation of Adored Beast's philosophy. Gut health drives over 80% of immune function and is implicated in most chronic conditions. For daily maintenance, start with a core probiotic. For active digestive upset, move up to a repair product.
Yeast
Yeasty paws, ears, skin, or a distinct corn-chip smell — all signs of yeast overgrowth. Yeast is deeply damaging to the gut and nearly always coexists with leaky gut. Clear yeast first, then repair the gut.
Chronic gut issues
Recurring allergies, skin disease, IBD, chronic ear infections — most of these trace back to a damaged gut lining. The Leaky Gut Protocol is a full 5-product repair kit designed for deeper intervention. If yeast is present, always do the Yeasty Beast Protocol first.
Urinary tract
Recurring UTIs, bladder stones, or general urinary tract support. The Easy Peesy Protocol is an active 3-product kit for existing issues; Easy Peesy II is a powder for ongoing daily support once the acute phase has resolved.
Immune & cellular support
Antioxidant support, whole-body cellular nutrition, and immune-modulating mushroom extracts. Phyto Synergy is the most versatile — marine phytoplankton absorbed before it reaches the gut, useful even for pets with digestive compromise.
Liver & detox
Supports liver, kidney, pancreas, and gallbladder. For pets on medications, post-vaccination, or dealing with environmental toxin load.
Joint & mobility
Joint support for working dogs, active breeds, senior pets, or post-injury recovery. Available in Regular and Extra Strength.
Skin, wounds & infections
Topical care for cuts, hot spots, burns, insect bites, and skin or ear infections. Colloidal SilverSol is the most broad-spectrum option and can also be used internally.
Omega-3 & nutrition
Plant-based EPA and DHA from algae — no fish. Supports skin, coat, joints, immunity, heart, brain, and eyes.
First response (acute)
For sudden vomiting, diarrhoea, acute stress, or emergency gut upset. Your Go 2 is the first-aid bottle to keep in the cupboard for these moments.
How to combine products
Three principles, a quick reference, and a note on common combinations.
Foundation products combine freely
Love Bugs, Phyto Synergy, Liver Tonic, and Potent-Sea Omega-3 can be given daily together without concern. Many owners run all four.
Yeasty Beast goes before Leaky Gut
If yeast is present (yeasty ears, skin, corn-chip odour), always clear it first. Yeast sabotages gut repair.
Mucilage herbs, 1–2 hours from meds
Products with slippery elm or marshmallow root (Gut Soothe, Leaky Gut Protocol) can slow medication absorption. Space them apart.
Quick reference
Most Adored Beast Apothecary products are for daily long-term use. A few are designed as defined protocols run over a set period, then stopped or followed by a maintenance product.
Introducing new products? Start one at a time over two weeks. Too many probiotics at once can cause loose stools in sensitive pets. A minimum of 6 weeks is recommended to see the full effect of any gut-focused protocol.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use multiple Adored Beast Apothecary products at the same time?
Yes — many products are designed to be used together. Love Bugs, Phyto Synergy, and Liver Tonic are a common daily combination. The Leaky Gut Protocol uses four products simultaneously by design. When introducing new products, start one at a time over two weeks and watch for loose stools, which can indicate too much probiotic load at once.
How long before I see results?
For gut-focused products, a minimum of 6 weeks is recommended — the body needs this time to process a full healing response. Visible improvements (energy, stool quality, coat condition) often appear within the first 2 weeks. Deeper changes (skin, allergies, joint pain) take longer, particularly in chronic cases.
Should I do the Yeasty Beast Protocol before the Leaky Gut Protocol?
Yes. If your dog has ever been diagnosed with yeast in the ears or on the skin, or has a yeasty odour (dirty socks or stale cheese), run the Yeasty Beast Protocol first. Yeast is deeply damaging to the gut and almost always co-exists with leaky gut. Clearing it first makes the Leaky Gut Protocol significantly more effective.
Can these supplements be used alongside prescription medications?
Most can. Products containing marshmallow root or slippery elm (Canine Gut Soothe, Leaky Gut Protocol components) can slow medication absorption if given simultaneously — space these 1–2 hours apart from prescription meds. Always inform your veterinarian of any supplements your pet is receiving.
Is Adored Beast Apothecary a raw food brand?
No — Adored Beast Apothecary is a supplement brand. Their products are designed to complement any diet, including raw, freeze-dried, air-dried, wet, or dry food. Healthy Gut is particularly valuable for pets on dry food, where natural enzymes have been destroyed by heat processing.
What is the difference between Colloidal SilverSol and Skin HEALth Spray?
Both are topical sprays, but they do different work. Skin HEALth Spray is a herbal formula suited to wound healing — cuts, scrapes, hot spots, burns. Colloidal SilverSol is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial that can also be used internally — better suited to active infections (bacterial, fungal, yeast) in the skin, ears, and eyes, and safe to use alongside prescribed antibiotics.
About Adored Beast Apothecary
Adored Beast Apothecary is a Canadian brand founded by Julie Anne Lee, a classically trained homeopath with over 30 years of clinical experience. The central philosophy is to treat the root cause of illness — not suppress its symptoms — and most healing begins in the gut, which drives over 80% of immune function and is implicated in virtually every chronic condition.
