For chaga's medicinal compounds to be activated and accessible to the body, they must be extracted. Raw or dried chaga powder has not been extracted — the beneficial compounds remain locked inside the cell wall. A dual water-and-alcohol extraction releases both the water-soluble polysaccharides (including beta-D-glucans) and the alcohol-soluble compounds (including antioxidants such as triterpenoids and SOD). Neither process alone captures everything. Liquid extracts are also absorbed directly into the bloodstream without needing to be digested — faster and more efficient than powder.

Most commercial mushroom products use mycelium grown in bags on rice or oats, making it virtually impossible to separate the mushroom from the grain. Shake well. Give the full recommended amount once daily — directly into your pet's mouth or added to food.

Dose: 1 drop per 1 lb (0.45 kg) of body weight, once daily.
