About The Foggy Dog
The Foggy Dog was founded by Stanford Business School graduate Rose Shattuck after she searched for a well-designed dog bed for her Goldendoodle Utah — and came up empty. What started as a single handmade dog bed sold on Etsy quickly caught the attention of Anthropologie, who placed a wholesale order within the first three months. Rose quit her job and devoted herself full-time to building the brand.
Today, The Foggy Dog is one of America's most recognised premium pet accessories labels, stocked by over 800 retailers including Anthropologie, Nordstrom, and goop. The brand's products are designed in San Francisco and the majority are handcrafted in the USA by family-owned manufacturing partners, where skilled craftspeople are paid fair wages.
Sustainability is built into the brand's DNA. The Foggy Dog's toys and beds are stuffed with eco-friendly filling made from 100% recycled plastic bottles — repurposing waste that would otherwise end up in landfill.
