NOMAD Long Line Leash

The NOMAD Long Line is for dogs that need room to move and owners who want to stay in control while giving it to them. Available in 3.6m, 6m, and 9m, it is the tool for recall training, confidence building in open spaces, and giving your dog a taste of off-leash freedom before they are ready for it.

At 1cm wide, the NOMAD is the narrowest and lightest leash in the Lambwolf walk range — easy to handle, easy to coil, and unobtrusive on the dog. Made from 100% waterproof, odour-proof vinyl-coated nylon with a 360° swivel carabiner that prevents tangles and rust-resistant all-weather hardware. Pairs with the REI Connector for a crossbody long-line setup that keeps your hands free during training.

The NOMAD is designed with smaller to medium dogs in mind — recommended for dogs up to 27kg. If your dog is above 27kg, the leash will still function, but for heavy pullers or very large breeds, a wider leash may offer more control and durability over time.

3.6m — A good starting point for recall training in smaller spaces or for dogs still learning to work at distance. Manageable to handle and coil.

6m — The most versatile length. Enough room for recall practice in parks and open fields while staying in comfortable handling range.

9m — Maximum freedom. Suited for confident dogs with solid recall foundations, or for large open spaces where distance is the point.

Wipe clean with a damp cloth. For a deeper clean, hand wash with a mild, pet-safe detergent and air dry fully. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.

Which length should I start with?
For most dogs beginning recall training, the 6m is the most practical starting point — long enough to work at a meaningful distance, short enough to handle comfortably. If your dog is very new to long-line work or you are training in a smaller space, start with the 3.6m.

Is the NOMAD suitable for everyday walking?
The NOMAD is a training tool, not an everyday walking leash. For daily walks, the APEX Leash or MELLEM Convertible Leash are the better choices.

Why is the NOMAD recommended for dogs up to 27kg?
The 1cm width keeps the NOMAD light and easy to handle — that is part of what makes it a pleasure to use for training. The 27kg figure is a guideline based on what the leash handles comfortably, not a hard restriction.
