The APEX is Lambwolf Collective's everyday leash — stripped down to what matters. At 75g and 1.2m, it is the lightest leash in the Lambwolf walk range, designed for dog owners who want something that just works without extra weight, bulk, or complexity. That lightness also makes it an excellent choice for small puppies — no unnecessary load on small bodies still getting used to leash walking.

Made from 100% waterproof, odour-proof vinyl-coated nylon with a 360° swivel carabiner that prevents tangles, box-X stitching for lifetime durability, and rust-resistant all-weather hardware. It clips on, holds firm, and disappears into the walk. Available in 5 colourways — Dunes, Cabin, Pine, Tide, and Moon.

Wipe clean with a damp cloth. For a deeper clean, hand wash with a mild, pet-safe detergent and air dry fully. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.

What is the difference between the APEX and the MELLEM Convertible Leash?
The APEX is a simple, fixed-length everyday leash — 1.2m, no adjustments, no add-ons. The MELLEM is a modular convertible leash that adjusts across four lengths (90cm to 180cm), clips hands-free to a bag or belt, and pairs with the REI Connector. If you want simplicity, choose the APEX. If you want flexibility, choose the MELLEM.

Is the APEX suitable for large dogs?
Yes — the APEX is rated for dogs up to 36kg. The hardware and stitching are built to handle strong pullers.

Can the APEX be used for training or recall?
The APEX is a standard walking leash at 1.2m — it is not suited for long-line recall work. For training distances, the NOMAD Long Line is available in 3.6m, 6m, and 9m.
