Organ Care Enzyme Support is Four Leaf Rover's veterinarian-formulated digestive enzyme and pancreatic support supplement for dogs — a clean blend of grass-fed bovine pancreas, grass-fed bovine liver, digestive enzymes, soil-based probiotics, and organic broccoli sprouts. It's a product that does two distinct jobs depending on when and how it's given: a daily digestive and pancreatic supplement at mealtimes, or a yeast biofilm breaker when given between meals.

Previously sold as "Digest," this is the same formula under an updated name that better reflects its broader role in supporting pancreatic and organ function. Available in 46g.

Use 1: Daily digestive and pancreatic support. Modern dogs — particularly those eating cooked or processed diets — often don't get enough enzymes from food alone. The pancreas makes up the difference, but over time this puts strain on the organ. Senior dogs produce fewer enzymes naturally. Dogs with pancreatitis, malabsorption issues, or inflammatory bowel conditions can benefit from supplemental enzymes. Given at mealtime, Organ Care delivers the enzymes and glandular support that take pressure off the pancreas and help dogs extract more nutrition from their meals.

Use 2: Yeast biofilm breakdown. Yeast in dogs (Candida, Malassezia) builds a protective biofilm that shields it from the immune system and antifungal herbs. Digestive enzymes — particularly protease and cellulase — can break down the protein and cellulose components of biofilm, exposing yeast to the herbs in Yeast Guard. For this purpose, Organ Care should be given away from meals so the enzymes target biofilm rather than food. This is why Organ Care is one of the three products in the Yeast Guard Plus kit.

100% Grass-Fed New Zealand Beef Liver (500mg). A concentrated whole-food source of B vitamins, copper, vitamin A, and iron. Supports healthy liver function and provides a broad nutritional foundation that isolated enzymes can't.

100% Grass-Fed New Zealand Beef Pancreas (300mg). The purest natural source of digestive enzymes — protease (breaks down proteins), amylase (carbohydrates), lipase (fats), and trypsin (proteins at a different stage). Bovine pancreas is the closest functional equivalent to a dog's own pancreatic output, which is why it's preferred over plant-based enzyme alternatives for dogs with real pancreatic insufficiency.

Organic Broccoli Sprout Powder (38mg). One of nature's richest sources of sulforaphane — a compound that activates Phase II liver detoxification pathways, supporting the body's natural handling of toxins. Also a potent antioxidant.

Organic Alfalfa Juice Powder (38mg). Nutrient-dense juice powder rich in chlorophyll, vitamins, and minerals. Supports overall detox and digestive balance.

Betaine Hydrochloride (38mg). Supports stomach acid levels — important for protein digestion and creating the acidic environment that discourages pathogenic bacteria and yeast from thriving in the upper digestive tract.

Liver detoxification support. Broccoli sprouts activate the Phase II detox pathway that handles environmental toxin clearance. Whole-food beef liver provides the raw materials the liver itself needs.

Yeast biofilm breakdown. As part of the Yeast Guard Plus protocol, enzymes and cellulase disrupt the biofilm that allows yeast populations to resist treatment.

A 46g jar typically lasts anywhere from around one to several months depending on your dog's size. Safe for long-term daily use.

For dogs with EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency): mix Organ Care with liquid and let it stand for 20–60 minutes before feeding. This allows the enzymes to predigest the food, which is important for dogs whose pancreas cannot do this naturally.

Refrigerate after opening to preserve enzyme potency. If fridge space is limited, store in a cool, dark place away from heat sources and use within 60 days of opening. Keep the lid tightly sealed. Never expose to hot temperatures — heat destroys the enzymes.
