Harmony

Harmony is Four Leaf Rover's veterinarian-formulated seasonal and environmental allergy support supplement for dogs — a carefully composed blend of liposomal quercetin, L-theanine, Chinese skullcap, nettle, broccoli sprouts, spirulina, and five complementary botanicals. It's designed to support a normal histamine response in dogs experiencing itchy skin, paw licking, ear discomfort, watery eyes, or other seasonal allergy symptoms, while also supporting the gut and liver pathways that underlie healthy skin.

Skin problems aren't just skin-deep. Chronic itching, hotspots, and allergy-related discomfort often trace back to imbalances in the gut, liver, and histamine pathways. Harmony works at that deeper level rather than just masking symptoms. Available in 78.3g.

When a dog is scratching, licking paws raw, or shaking their head from ear discomfort, the visible symptom is skin. But the mechanism is histamine. When the immune system encounters an allergen — pollen, grass, dust mites, mould, or even a food protein — mast cells release histamine as part of the inflammatory response. Histamine dilates blood vessels, recruits immune cells, and triggers the itch signal in nerve endings. In dogs with healthy histamine regulation, this response is proportionate and brief. In dogs with chronic allergies, the response is exaggerated, sustained, and self-reinforcing.

Conventional medications like Apoquel and Cytopoint suppress the itch signal at the cellular level. They work, often dramatically, but they're suppressing the body's response rather than restoring the underlying balance. Harmony takes a different approach: supporting the body's natural histamine regulation, soothing the mucous membranes involved in allergic reactions, and supporting the liver and gut pathways that clear allergens and inflammatory compounds from the body.

Liposomal Quercetin. Quercetin is often called "nature's Benadryl" for its ability to stabilise mast cells and reduce histamine release. The liposomal form — quercetin encapsulated in natural phospholipids — dramatically improves absorption compared to standard quercetin powder, meaning more reaches the cells that matter.

L-Theanine. An amino acid from green tea with a calming effect on the nervous system. Stress is a significant trigger for itch flares, and L-theanine helps the body stay balanced during allergy season. Supports a balanced immune response to allergens.

Chinese Skullcap (Scutellaria baicalensis). Contains baicalin, a bioactive flavonoid that supports a normal histamine response. Used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for centuries for its anti-inflammatory properties. One of the more targeted botanicals in modern holistic allergy support.

Organic Nettle Leaf. A traditional herb for supporting a healthy inflammatory and histamine response, with gentle diuretic properties that assist natural detoxification.

Organic Broccoli Sprout Powder. Concentrated source of sulforaphane, which activates Phase II liver detoxification. For dogs with allergies, this matters because the liver plays a direct role in clearing allergens and inflammatory compounds from the body.

Spirulina. A nutrient-dense blue-green algae with natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Supports skin detoxification from everyday toxins and provides a broad nutritional foundation.

Organic Marshmallow Root. Mucilaginous herb that soothes and protects the mucous membranes of the gut. A healthy gut lining is directly linked to balanced immune response — "leaky gut" is often part of the allergy picture.

Bromelain (from pineapple). An enzyme that breaks down protein and supports a normal inflammatory response. Also supports absorption of the other ingredients.

Organic Cat's Claw (Uncaria tomentosa). A botanical with traditional immune-modulating properties. Supports a balanced immune response rather than pure suppression.

Organic Irish Moss. A nutrient-rich sea vegetable (Chondrus crispus) that supports thyroid function and helps detoxify heavy metals. Its mucilaginous content also soothes the digestive tract.

Balanced histamine response. Quercetin, L-theanine, Chinese skullcap, and nettle work through different mechanisms to help the body regulate histamine release — the root-cause of most itchy skin.

Skin and mucous membrane health. Spirulina, marshmallow root, and aloe-adjacent botanicals soothe the tissues that become irritated during allergic reactions.
