Air Dried Chicken

Bugsy's Air-Dried Chicken is a complete and balanced single-protein dog food made from Australian free-range chicken — meat, bones (frames), and organs — gently air-dried at low temperatures to preserve the nutrition and flavour of the raw ingredients without cooking. The chicken component makes up approximately 98% of the recipe, supported by a functional whole-food base of green lipped mussel, maitake mushroom, organic seaweed, blueberries, and a small selection of pet-friendly vegetables. No synthetic vitamin pre-mixes. No fillers, grains, preservatives, or artificial additives. Suitable for all life stages from puppyhood through adulthood. Air-drying removes moisture from raw ingredients slowly at low temperatures — without cooking. This preserves the natural vitamins, minerals, and enzymes present in the raw ingredients in a way that conventional high-heat processing destroys. The result is a shelf-stable food with a nutritional profile closer to raw feeding and the convenience of a dry food. Air-dried food has a chewier texture than freeze-dried, making it particularly practical as a training treat broken into small pieces.

Australian Free-Range Chicken, Frames and Organs (~98%) — the primary ingredient. Muscle meat provides lean, highly digestible protein rich in B vitamins, phosphorus, and selenium. Frames (carcass) provide natural calcium and phosphorus. Organs provide concentrated vitamins A, B12, and a range of minerals. No synthetic vitamin or mineral pre-mixes are needed or used.

Green Lipped Mussel — a natural source of glycosaminoglycans and omega-3 fatty acids, traditionally associated with joint health, mobility, and the body's natural inflammatory response.

Maitake Mushroom — a functional whole food traditionally associated with immune regulation and metabolic support.

Wild Marine Algae & Organic Kelp — rich sources of iodine, minerals, and antioxidants. Organic kelp is widely associated with tartar control, metabolic support, and healthy ageing.

Blueberries — one of the most antioxidant-rich fruits, providing anthocyanins traditionally associated with cognitive support and protection against oxidative stress.

Cold Pressed Flaxseed Oil — a plant-based source of Omega-3 fatty acids, supporting skin and coat health and the body's natural inflammatory response.
