Two ways to play

1. Burrowed bone challenge. Hide treats in the belly of the fish alongside the two squeaky fishbones. Your dog has to work the bones out to reach the reward — a burrow puzzle that engages nose, paws, and problem-solving in one go.

2. Snuffle pockets for nosework. Tuck treats into the two smaller pockets and one larger pocket along the fish's body. The tighter pocket design encourages careful, methodical sniffing rather than a quick rummage.

How to use it

Air-dried treats work best. Air-dried treats hold their shape inside the pockets, don't crumble, and won't grease the fabric the way softer treats would. Freeze-dried pieces and other dry training treats also work well. Avoid anything wet, oily, or sticky — fabric snuffle toys aren't designed for soft fills, and damp treats are difficult to remove fully during washing.

Start simple, then layer up. For a first session, place treats in just one or two of the exterior pockets so your dog understands where the rewards are coming from. Once they have the idea, add the burrowed-bone challenge on top.

Care

Machine wash on a gentle cycle and air dry. Vacuum the surface between washes to lift out any treat crumbs caught in the snuffle pockets. Remove the squeaky fishbones before washing.
