The Grateful Pet Raw Grass-fed Beef (Dog Food) is a complete and balanced fresh raw meal for dogs of all life stages. Made in Singapore from human-grade, grass-fed beef alongside heart, liver, lung, and spleen, vegetables, and functional superfoods, this recipe is prepared raw to maximise the natural bioavailability of nutrients. Every batch is AAFCO-balanced, NRC-compliant, and vet-reviewed.
A nutrient-dense raw red meat. Grass-fed sourcing means naturally higher omega-3 levels and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) compared to grain-fed alternatives.
Why raw? Raw meals preserve the full nutritional profile of each ingredient without heat processing. Dogs can benefit from increased digestibility and bioavailability of nutrients, and many owners report improvements in coat condition, energy levels, and stool quality after transitioning to raw. All raw recipes from The Grateful Pet are prepared under strict hygiene standards in an AVS-licensed facility.
Benefits
Maximum nutrient bioavailability. Raw preparation preserves heat-sensitive vitamins, enzymes, and amino acids that are partially lost during cooking, allowing your dog to absorb more from every meal.
70% meat and organs. A high meat-to-vegetable ratio mirrors a species-appropriate diet, providing concentrated protein, essential fatty acids, and micronutrients from organ meats.
Functional superfoods. New Zealand green-lipped mussel is widely recognised for its natural source of glucosamine and omega-3s, traditionally associated with joint and mobility support. Reishi mushroom and spirulina are traditionally associated with immune function, while prebiotic seaweed supports healthy gut flora.
Complete and balanced. AAFCO-balanced and NRC-compliant for all life stages. No artificial preservatives, fillers, corn, soy, or feed-grade ingredients.

Feeding Guide
Feed approximately 3 to 5% of your dog's ideal body weight per day, split across two meals. Puppies aged 3 to 11 months (or dogs who have not yet reached their ideal weight) should be fed 6 to 8% of their current weight. Senior dogs with lower metabolism may need closer to 3%. Adjust portions based on your dog's activity level, condition, and individual needs.
Note on curcumin. This recipe contains activated curcumin extract from turmeric. The natural yellow pigments may temporarily colour the mouth area of dogs with white or light-coloured coats. This can be removed by wiping your dog's mouth with a damp cloth straight after each meal.
About The Grateful Pet
The Grateful Pet is a Singaporean fresh pet food company founded in 2017 by Rachel and Sandee, two lifelong animal lovers who set out to find the best possible diet for their own dogs. What started as a personal mission to move away from ultra-processed food became a full range of gently cooked and raw meals for dogs and cats, made in an AVS-licensed facility in Singapore.
Every recipe is vet-reviewed and formulated to meet AAFCO and NRC nutritional standards, using human-grade ingredients and functional superfoods including reishi mushroom, green-lipped mussel, and prebiotic seaweed. A portion of every sale supports Causes for Animals Singapore through The Grateful Give Back programme.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is raw food safe for my dog?
The Grateful Pet's raw meals are prepared under strict hygiene standards in an AVS-licensed facility and flash-frozen immediately to maintain food safety. As with all raw food, proper handling is important: thaw in the chiller (not at room temperature), serve promptly, and wash hands and surfaces after handling.
Can I transition my dog from cooked food to raw?
Yes. Introduce raw food gradually over 5 to 7 days, starting with a small portion mixed into your dog's current food and increasing the raw portion each day. Some dogs may experience temporary loose stools during the transition, which typically resolves within a day or two.
Is this suitable for puppies?
Yes, for puppies aged 5 months and above. Puppies should be fed 6 to 8% of their current body weight per day, split into 3 to 4 smaller meals for those under 6 months. Raw food is not recommended for puppies and kittens under 5 months old, or for pets with cancer or those on chemotherapy or immunosuppressant medication. Always monitor weight and condition closely during growth.
Are the recipes grain-free?
Yes. All recipes in the raw range are grain-free. The Grateful Pet does not use potatoes or green peas in any recipe.
Is raw food suitable for all dogs?
Raw food is suitable for healthy dogs aged 5 months and above. It is not recommended for puppies under 5 months, dogs with cancer, or dogs on chemotherapy or immunosuppressant medication. If you are unsure, consult your veterinarian.
