Original Blend Lamb is a complete and balanced raw meal for dogs and cats — made in Australia from certified organic full-carcass lamb including all prime cuts such as loin, rib, and legs, combined with liver, kidney, heart, green tripe, ground bone, cod liver oil, and kelp. A rich, nutrient-dense recipe using only quality muscle meat with no fatty trim or off-cuts. Biologically appropriate, toxin free, and complete across all life stages with no supplementation needed.
Always serve raw. Never cook — the recipe contains ground bone which becomes brittle and potentially dangerous when heated.
WHY ORIGINAL BLEND LAMB
Lamb is a flavour-rich protein that appeals to most dogs and cats and works well as a rotation protein alongside chicken. It is naturally high in iron, zinc, selenium, vitamin B12, and niacin. At 17.22g protein and 14.0g fat per 100g, lamb sits in the middle of the Organic Paws range — more energy-dense than chicken but leaner than beef — making it a versatile everyday option or an excellent variety meal for pets already on a raw diet.

STORAGE

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is this suitable for cats as well as dogs?
Yes. Original Blend Lamb is suitable for both dogs and cats of all ages, including puppies and kittens.
Is this a complete meal or a topper?
It is a complete and balanced meal — no additional supplements or mixing required. It is designed to be fed as your pet's primary food source.
Why must it be served raw and not cooked?
The recipe contains ground bone. Cooked bone splinters and can cause serious internal injury — raw ground bone is safe, digestible, and the natural source of calcium in the recipe. Cooking also destroys heat-sensitive nutrients including taurine, natural enzymes, and beneficial bacteria.
Can I rotate this with other Organic Paws proteins?
Yes — rotation is encouraged. All recipes are formulated to the same complete and balanced standard, so you can switch freely between proteins without any nutritional adjustment. Lamb works particularly well rotated with Chicken as a complementary everyday pair.
