Meet the Lambwolf Squirrel POP — part squeaky ball, part foraging toy, part cuddly companion. The POP combines a durable TPR squeaky ball core with a soft, removable squirrel plush coat, creating a play experience that switches between high-energy fetch, nose-led foraging, and a satisfying burrow challenge all in one toy.
The squirrel coat is removable for washing — simply slip it off the ball, wash, and pop it back on. The fluffy tail is filled with crinkling paper and a squeaker, adding texture and sound that keeps dogs coming back. Soft on the mouth, tough enough to bounce, and designed to be played with in more ways than one.
Built to a higher standard.
All Lambwolf Collective products are made with materials tested to EN71-3 standards and are free from harmful heavy metals. Squeakers and fillings meet the U.S. ASTM F963-17 toy safety standard — the same benchmark applied to children's toys. Dogs can't read labels — but you can. Choose toys that are made to a standard, not just made to a price.
How It Works
The Squirrel POP is built for multi-mode play. Use it as a squeaky fetch ball on its own, or keep the squirrel coat on and let your dog work to remove it — the coat coming off becomes the reward itself. The crinkly, squeaky tail adds a nosework element that engages scent-driven dogs between throws.
Four ways to play:
Fetch — throw the ball with or without the coat. The TPR core bounces unpredictably, keeping dogs alert and engaged.
Squeaky play — the ball squeaks on contact, and the tail squeaks independently. Two squeakers in one toy.
Burrow challenge — let your dog figure out how to remove the coat. The effort of working it off is mentally stimulating and deeply satisfying.
Nosework — place treats inside the coat first, then slide the ball in to hold them in place. Hand the Squirrel POP to your dog and let them sniff out and retrieve the treats hidden inside the coat.
Air-dried treats work best. They hold their shape inside the coat alongside the ball, don't crumble, and don't grease the fabric. Freeze-dried treats also work well. Browse our treats collection for air-dried and freeze-dried options that fit neatly inside the squirrel coat.
Why multi-mode play matters.
Dogs who play with purpose are calmer, more focused, and less likely to develop destructive habits. Combining physical play (fetch, bounce) with nose-led foraging and a burrow challenge gives your dog a complete mental and physical workout — in a single toy.

Care Instructions
The squirrel coat is removable and machine washable — remove it from the ball before washing and air dry fully before play. The TPR ball can be lint rolled to keep clean between sessions, and left in direct sunlight to naturally sanitise between play sessions. Do not machine wash the ball.
Supervise all play.
No plush toy is indestructible — not even the well-made ones. Always supervise play and remove the toy if chewing starts. You know your dog better than anyone. Trust that, and guide them well.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the squirrel coat be washed?
Yes — remove the coat from the ball and machine wash on a gentle cycle. Air dry fully before returning it to your dog. Do not tumble dry.
What treats work best?
Air-dried treats are our top recommendation — they hold their shape inside the coat alongside the ball, don't crumble, and don't grease the fabric. Freeze-dried and other dry training treats also work well. You can browse our treats collection for suitable options. Avoid wet food or anything sticky.
Which size should I choose?
Small (8cm) suits extra-small to medium dogs. Medium (13cm) suits medium and larger dogs. If your dog is on the boundary, choose the larger size — a ball that fits fully in the mouth is a choking risk.
My dog removes the coat immediately — is that normal?
Completely normal, and exactly what the POP is designed for. The burrow challenge — working the coat off the ball — is the enrichment.
