Herbal Dog Toothpaste | Peppermint, Papaya & Rosemary

A natural dog-safe toothpaste made with peppermint, papaya, and rosemary — no fluoride, no xylitol, no foaming agents. Both toxic to dogs, fluoride and xylitol are common in human toothpaste, which is why dogs need their own oral-care products. This formula is safe if swallowed (and most dogs will swallow), making it ideal for daily brushing without the worry.

Works alongside mechanical brushing to reduce plaque and freshen breath. Papaya contains natural enzymes that help break down plaque build-up. Peppermint and rosemary contribute to fresh breath and have traditionally been recognised for antimicrobial properties. The formula is designed to support, not replace, the physical action of brushing.

Peppermint — naturally freshens breath, mildly antimicrobial. Papaya — contains papain, an enzyme that helps break down plaque. Rosemary — traditional antimicrobial herb, gentle on gums. All plant-based, no synthetic flavourings or colours.

Apply a pea-sized amount to a dog toothbrush. Gently lift your dog's lip and brush the outer surface of the teeth in small circular motions, focusing on the gum line where plaque builds up. Brush daily for best results — three times a week at minimum. If your dog swallows some paste during brushing, that's fine — the formula is food-grade safe.

Human toothpaste contains fluoride (toxic to dogs in cumulative amounts) and xylitol (a sweetener that causes rapid insulin release and can be fatal to dogs even in very small doses). Foaming agents in human toothpaste also cause stomach upset when swallowed. Dog toothpaste skips all three — made to be safe if your dog swallows, because most dogs do.
