Augustine's SuperBath

Augustine's SuperBath is a herbal bath and foot soak for dogs, made from eight certified organic and wild-harvested botanical ingredients — dried roots, bark, and flowers with well-documented anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties. Unlike conventional shampoos and conditioners, which are on average 80% water, SuperBath contains no water at all — it is a concentrated dry herbal formula that is infused in boiling water before use, delivering a potent botanical treatment without the need for preservatives. It will not dry out the skin or strip beneficial oils, making it safe enough for daily use when needed.

SuperBath is used as a full-body bath or foot soak for dogs with yeasty paws, hot spots, skin irritations, seasonal allergies, fungal or bacterial skin conditions, or any dog that benefits from regular skin-level support. A flower infusion bath bag is included. SuperBath cannot currently be certified organic as two of its key ingredients — Pau d'Arco and Cat's Claw — can only be obtained through wild harvesting and are not farmed.

Licorice Root — soothing and anti-inflammatory, traditionally used to calm irritated skin and support skin barrier recovery.

Pau d'Arco — wild-harvested inner bark of the Tabebuia tree, widely used for its anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties. One of the most effective natural topical anti-fungals available.

Cat's Claw — wild-harvested vine bark from the Amazon, traditionally associated with anti-inflammatory and immune-supporting properties. Used topically to soothe irritated and inflamed skin.

Cinnamon Bark — a potent natural anti-fungal and anti-microbial. Helps address fungal and bacterial overgrowth on the skin surface.

Burdock Root — traditionally used to support detoxification and skin health. Has documented anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties and is widely used in natural skin remedies.

Devil's Claw — wild-harvested root with well-documented anti-inflammatory properties. Used to soothe skin inflammation and discomfort.

Chamomile Flowers — one of the most widely used soothing botanicals, Chamomile calms inflamed and irritated skin and supports the skin's natural healing process.

Calendula Flowers — rich in flavonoids, Calendula is used to fight inflammation and support faster skin healing. One of the most versatile and well-researched topical botanicals.

No synthetics, preservatives, fillers, or additives. No water added.

Preparation: Place some of the herbal mixture inside the supplied bath bag, tie a loose knot at the end to prevent spillage, and infuse in a large cup of boiling water for five minutes. Allow to cool to a comfortable temperature before use.

Foot soak: Soak feet for a minimum of 5 minutes and a maximum of 15 minutes. Gently scrub the paws with the bath bag during soaking.

Full body bath: Place the bath bag and cup of infused water into the bath (ensuring the water is safe to touch) and bathe the dog for a minimum of 5 minutes and a maximum of 15 minutes.

Frequency: For best results with trouble areas, use 1–2 times daily for the first 5 days, then reduce to every 2 days, then every 3–4 days as the skin improves. No other shampoos or conditioners are necessary — if you choose to use them, always finish the bath with SuperBath.

SuperBath and SuperBalm are designed to be used as a complementary system. SuperBath delivers the deep cleansing, anti-fungal, and anti-bacterial treatment during bathing. SuperBalm provides between-bath maintenance for hard-to-reach or hard-to-bathe areas like ears, paws, and skin folds. Using both reduces the frequency of bathing needed while maintaining continuous topical support.
