Louvre is a Level 3 Pawzler puzzle piece and the largest in the range — occupying six spots on the Base and featuring multi-directional sliding compartments that require dogs to experiment with different pushing techniques to uncover hidden treats. It also functions as a connector between two Bases, making it the only Pawzle that simultaneously challenges and expands your puzzle setup.

How It Works

Louvre features multiple sliding compartments that move in different directions — left, right, and across. Unlike single-direction sliders, Louvre requires dogs to work out which direction each compartment moves before the treat is revealed. Dogs use their nose, tongue, or paw to push each slider, and must approach each compartment differently. There is no single technique that works across all compartments — variety is the point.

Fill each compartment with small treats, or spread a meal across the compartments to slow down eating and turn mealtime into playtime.

Use as a Base Connector

Louvre's size — six Base spots — means it spans the width of two adjacent Bases when positioned at the join. This allows two Pawzler Bases to be physically connected through Louvre, extending the overall puzzle footprint and dramatically increasing the number of possible configurations. It is the most practical way to grow a Pawzler setup without purchasing additional connector pieces.

Compatibility

Louvre clips into any Pawzler Base and is compatible with all Pawzles and Bases in the range. A Base is required — Louvre cannot be used without one. Louvre is included in the Smarty Set.
