AVA Martingale Collar

The Ava Martingale is for dogs who find a way out of everything. Built on the same waterproof vinyl-coated nylon as the Ava, it adds a martingale loop that tightens gently under leash pressure — just enough to prevent slipping, never enough to choke. The moment the leash goes slack, the collar returns to its resting fit.

It is the go-to collar for sighthounds, Whippets, Greyhounds, and any dog whose neck is wider than their head. It also works well for dogs who have learned to back out of flat collars. Two points of attachment — one D-ring on the martingale loop, one on the main body — give you flexibility in how you clip the leash.

Wipe clean with a damp cloth. For a deeper clean, hand wash with a mild, pet-safe detergent and air dry fully before returning to your dog. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.

Is the Ava Martingale suitable for everyday wear?
Yes — but it is best used as a walking collar with a leash attached. For unsupervised wear or when your dog is off-leash, a standard flat collar is more appropriate, as the martingale loop requires leash tension to function correctly.

Is this collar waterproof?
Yes. The vinyl-coated nylon is 100% waterproof and odour-proof. Rinse and air dry after saltwater or chlorine exposure.
