Three ways to use it

1. Lick mat on top — Spread wet food, raw meals, yoghurt, pumpkin, or bone broth across either of the two textured mat surfaces. One side offers an easier pattern for beginners; the other is more intricate for experienced lickers.

2. Slow feeder base — Use the base on its own for kibble-free raw meals, freeze-dried, or wet food. The ridges and wells slow eating speed and encourage your dog to work for each mouthful.

3. Stacked for hidden treats — Place food in the slow feeder base and cover with the lick mat top. Your dog licks and nudges the mat to reveal what's underneath — a proper puzzle that rewards patience.

What to fill it with

The BENTO is designed for wet, spreadable, and freezable foods. Some ideas to start with:

Spread on the lick mat. Plain Greek yoghurt. Pumpkin purée. Bone broth (let it set in the freezer first). Mashed banana. Raw meal mixture. Wet food. Nut butter that is xylitol-free.

In the slow feeder base. Raw meals such as Organic Paws Powerhouse Blend or Original Blend. Freeze-dried food. Soaked wet meals. Warm home-cooked meals, once cooled.

For a longer session. Fill either surface and pop the BENTO in the freezer for thirty to sixty minutes before serving.
