The Grateful Pet Gently Cooked Grass-fed Beef (Dog Food) is a complete and balanced fresh meal for dogs of all life stages. Made in Singapore from human-grade, grass-fed beef and a carefully selected blend of organ meats, vegetables, and functional superfoods, each recipe is gently cooked at 80°C to preserve nutrients and natural flavour while eliminating common pathogens. Every batch is AAFCO-balanced, NRC-compliant, and vet-reviewed.
This recipe uses grass-fed, hormone-free grass-fed beef alongside heart, liver, spleen, and lung for a broad amino acid and micronutrient profile, supported by pumpkin, spinach, carrot, and zucchini for fibre and phytonutrients. Functional ingredients including New Zealand green-lipped mussel, reishi mushroom, prebiotic seaweed, and activated curcumin round out a meal designed to support joint health, gut function, and overall vitality.
High-quality, ethically sourced protein. Grass-fed beef is naturally richer in omega-3 fatty acids and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) compared to grain-fed alternatives. A broad organ meat blend (heart, liver, spleen, lung) provides a wide spectrum of micronutrients.
Functional superfoods in every pouch. New Zealand green-lipped mussel is widely recognised for its natural source of glucosamine and omega-3 fatty acids, traditionally associated with joint and mobility support. Reishi mushroom and spirulina are traditionally associated with immune function, while wolfberry and dandelion root extract are traditionally associated with antioxidant and liver-supportive properties. Activated curcumin offers antioxidant properties, and prebiotic seaweed supports healthy gut flora.
Gentle cooking, maximum nutrition. Cooked at 80°C, a lower temperature than conventional methods, to retain more vitamins, minerals, and natural flavour while ensuring food safety.
Complete and balanced. AAFCO-balanced and NRC-compliant for all life stages, with a calcium-to-phosphorus ratio of 1.6 : 1 and an EPA-to-DHA ratio of 1.4 : 1.

Feed approximately 3 to 5% of your dog's ideal body weight per day, split across two meals. Puppies aged 3 to 11 months (or dogs who have not yet reached their ideal weight) should be fed 6 to 8% of their current weight. Senior dogs with lower metabolism may need closer to 3%. Adjust portions based on your dog's activity level, condition, and individual needs.

Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat is gently cooked dog food?
Gently cooked food is prepared at lower temperatures (80°C) than conventional cooking methods. This helps retain more of the natural vitamins, minerals, and flavour in each ingredient while still eliminating common pathogens. It offers a middle ground between raw feeding and heavily processed food, making it a good option for dogs transitioning away from ultra-processed diets or for owners who prefer a cooked format.
Is this suitable for puppies?
Yes. This recipe is formulated to meet AAFCO nutritional standards for all life stages, including growth. Puppies aged 3 to 11 months should be fed 6 to 8% of their current body weight per day, split across meals. Always monitor weight and condition closely during growth and adjust portions as needed.
Can I mix this with my dog's current food?
Absolutely. Many owners use gently cooked food as a topper or mix it with their dog's existing diet. If transitioning fully, introduce The Grateful Pet gradually over 3 to 7 days, starting with around one-fifth to one-third of the new food mixed in. Some dogs may experience loose stools during the transition, which typically resolves within a day or two. A slower transition is recommended for dogs with sensitive stomachs.
How should I store and serve the food?
Keep packs frozen at -18°C until ready to use. Thaw overnight in the chiller and serve at room temperature or slightly chilled. Do not microwave or re-cook. Once opened, packs can be kept in the chiller for up to 48 hours. Do not refreeze thawed food.
Are the recipes grain-free?
Yes. All recipes in the standard gently cooked range are grain-free. The Grateful Pet does not use potatoes or green peas in any recipe.
Where are the meats sourced from?
All meats are sourced from human-grade suppliers. Poultry comes from Malaysia, game meats, lamb, and pork from Australia, seafood from Chile and Norway, and other meats from Brazil.
What if there's an issue with my delivery?
All The Grateful Pet meals are delivered frozen and cannot be returned or exchanged once delivered, due to food safety. If anything arrives damaged, thawed, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible after delivery with clear photos showing the issue and we will resolve it for you. The sooner you reach out, the faster we can help.

Yes. All The Grateful Pet meals are delivered frozen within Singapore. Complimentary frozen delivery applies to dog food orders of 2 or more boxes, cat food orders of 3 or more boxes, and bone broth orders of 8 or more pouches. A $20 frozen delivery fee applies to orders below these minimums. You can select your preferred delivery day and time slot at checkout.
