The Haqihana leash is handmade in Italy from the same high-tenacity spun-dyed nylon-6 webbing used in Haqihana harnesses — soft to hold, strong under load, and colour-locked so it won't fade, bleed, or wash out. Each leash features a stainless steel BREMA snap-hook (AISI 304) and a comfortable loop handle, both built to the same standard as the harness hardware.
Available in 1.5m, 2m, and 3m lengths. The 2m and 3m versions are double-ended — they can be used at full length or folded in half using the second snap-hook for closer control, giving you two leash lengths in one.

Many force-free trainers and canine behaviour professionals recommend walking on a 3m leash as standard — it gives dogs enough slack to move naturally, sniff, and make choices without constant tension on the line. The 3m Haqihana leash folds to 1.5m when you need closer control, so you're never compromising safety for freedom.
The webbing is high-tenacity spun-dyed nylon-6, woven in Italy to Haqihana's design. The spun-dyed process means colour is embedded into the fibre during manufacturing — it will not fade from UV exposure, washing, or everyday wear. The nylon is soft in the hand, lightweight, and does not absorb water, making it comfortable to hold even in wet conditions.
The BREMA snap-hook is AISI 304 stainless steel — corrosion-resistant, nickel-free, and designed for secure, one-handed clipping onto harness D-rings.
Care InstructionsHand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle in a delicates bag. Use mild detergent and cold or lukewarm water. Hang to dry away from direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry.
5-Year GuaranteeHaqihana guarantees every leash for five years from the date of purchase against defects, breakages, or issues that are not the result of normal wear and tear — provided the leash has been used correctly. The guarantee does not cover damage from chewing or failure to follow care instructions.

For most everyday use, the 3m is the most versatile — it gives your dog room to move freely on walks and folds to 1.5m when you need closer control. The 2m is a good middle ground if you prefer a shorter default length. The 1.5m is best for tight urban environments or dogs that need to stay close.
How does the double-ended feature work?
The 2m and 3m leashes have a snap-hook at each end plus a handle. At full length, you clip one end to the harness and hold the handle. To shorten, fold the leash in half and clip both snap-hooks to the harness D-ring — this gives you approximately half the length with the handle at the midpoint.
Does this leash match the Haqihana harness?
Yes — Haqihana leashes are made from the same spun-dyed nylon-6 webbing as the harnesses and are available in matching colours. The snap-hook is designed to clip securely onto the harness D-ring.
Is the webbing comfortable to hold?
Yes. The nylon-6 webbing is soft and pliable — it doesn't dig into your hand or cause rope burn the way stiffer materials can. The loop handle provides a secure grip, and the webbing does not absorb water so it stays comfortable even in wet conditions.
