Ground Turkey, Turkey Liver, Turkey Heart, Ground Chicken, Broccoli, Ground Duck, Chicken Liver, Apples, Romaine Lettuce, Celery, Goat’s Milk, Sesame Seed, Chia Seed, Coconut Oil, New Zealand Green Lipped Mussel, Taurine, Salmon Oil, Flaxseed, Dried Kelp, Inulin, Ground Eggshell

Ingredient Sourcing:
Our turkey comes from a family farm in California. The turkeys roam freely, are given enrichment activities, and are raised on a non-GMO, biologically appropriate diet. Our chickens come from an 8 generation family farm in Washington and Oregon that introduced "No Antibiotics Ever Chicken." The farm raises free-range chickens and is Non-GMO Project verified. Our delicious red-meat duck hails from Maple Leaf Farms, providing top-quality White Pekin Duck to America's finest chefs. The ducks are free to roam in a cage-free environment and are never given growth hormones or antibiotics. They have access to climate-controlled barns to protect them during the cold Indiana winters. When the ducks are harvested, the farm attempts to utilize every part of the animal so nothing goes to waste. The feathers are sent to make pillows and blankets, and the meat gets added to our tasty pet food. The produce is sourced from the Pacific Northwest, and our goat milk comes from a family farm in Gaston, Oregon. Steve's Real Food is committed to working with family farms that share our belief in sustainable farming free from added hormones, antibiotics, and pesticides.

Feeding guide

Your pet's dietary needs vary by activity level, metabolic rate, age, breed and other variables. It is important that you observe your pet closely & increase or reduce food quantity as needed for a healthy weight. Here, we apply the bodyweight percentage rule as a general guide which estimates the feeding amounts based on the weight of your pet.

Adult dogs
2% to 3% of current weight or ideal body weight

Puppies
2 - 4 months = 8% to 10% of current body weight
4 - 6 months = 6% to 8% of current body weight
6 - 8 months = 4% to 6% of current body weight
8 - 12 months = 3% to 4% of current body weight

How to prepare
1. Measure the amount of food needed and pour food into your pet's bowl.
2. Rehydrate food by adding warm water, low-sodium bone broth, raw goat milk, or kefir on top of the food to aid digestion. Wait about 5 mins for food to absorb the liquid before serving. If you are feeding freeze-dried food as your pet's main diet, it is vital to rehydrate the food before feeding them. Rehydrating is not required if you use freeze-dried pet food as occasional treats.

Safe Handling
Treat raw pet food with the same care as handling raw meat. Always wash everything that comes in contact with raw meat. Keep food in a cool place away from direct light. Unopened bags are good for up to 2 years. Opened bags should be used within 30 days.
